Omg this was THE best experience EVER!! Brian explained all our options , giving us all the information we needed to make our decision on what we needed/wanted to do for repairs. He worked quickly and efficiently and then took the time to explain and help us with all the programming and set up of our new garage door opener. I will start off by saying Jameson was great! He is the tech that came out to my initial problem. Probably one of the most thorough customer service representatives I’ve ever had. He informed me that I needed a new bottom panel on my garage and that someone would be in contact with me to quote the panel and installation. He left and my main garage is now out of service. That was on a Sunday. Never heard from anyone that week. I had called other places for quotes while I waited for precision to call me back because I figured it would be expensive. Friday I called to get an update and the representative on the phone, Miley I believe, said she missed it and readily admitted that it was her fault. The door has a 5-6 week lead time. I asked if there would be any compensation since they now added another week onto the install for my main two stall garage which I can’t use. She simply said no and couldn’t understand why they should compensate me. She said she didn’t understand because they still would have to install it and ship it?!?!?! Her reasoning made no sense. She didn’t even contact someone higher up to explain what happened for permission to compensate, she just simply said no. I told her if they weren’t willing to work with me that I would have to go to another company and she was ok with that. This is my first and last time I will be using precision door. If your near Scott county, I would try Action Overhead Door. I’m not saying the company as a whole is bad, but the way this was handled without even an apology or any consideration of making it better was horrible customer service.

We called Precision Garage Door Service knowing we had a lot wrong with our garage door. Chuck was able to educate us why there was so much wear and tear on our garage door and why a lot of the parts of our door were rusted and over worked. In addition to the age and wear tear, our garage door opener stopped working. Chuck helped us understand what we needed to get done today versus what could get done in the future as well as a breakdown of price and services. He was done within a few hours and our garage door is working perfectly and silently!
We are so happy to hear that we were able to address and take care of all of you garage door and opener needs in one visit. Precicion met every expectation. I had a 2 PM- 4 PM appointment time the Brian B. was there exactly at 2. He diagnosed the problem and checked over my door. My opener was 26 years old so after discussing my options I decided to purchase a new opener. Brian was done in an hour or so, reviewed all that he did (he lubed all the rollers and aligned the door), and demonstrated the operation of the opener. Perfect!!

Very pleased with the service from Precision Garage Doors. I knew the previous owner had installed a bottom line opener and therefore was not surprised when it failed. PD was able to respond the next day. Excellent communication on who the tech would be, including his photo and up to date information on arrival time. Chad Magaard was extremely polite and professional. He did not try to upsell me, but when I realized he proposed the same brand I requested the upgrade (worm vs gear drive). For a minimal cost difference I have a very quiet door, excellent lighting and security camera. Chad completed the installation in about an hour and reprogrammed all openers. When I first bought the home I called the number on the sticker in the garage…..that sticker was removed 2 years ago and I only call Precision Door.
