Great service by office and service representative Josh. I called office number early morning, that was listed on web site, and my call was answered and service scheduled for 10:00 same day. The springs on my garage door were replaced and Josh did a complete check of the garage door operations and parts by 11:30 AM. I am very pleased with the service provided by Precision.

69 freaking stars for this business. One of our garage door springs snapped one morning and my wife's car was stuck in the garage so she had to take an Uber to work. I googled "garage door mechanics near me" and Precision Door showed up. I called around 7pm. They were able to make me an appointment the very next morning around 10am. It's $65 for an estimate, but if you move forward with the repair then that fee is waived. The next morning, Josh Kuss, the mechanic, called me an hour early before his estimated arrival time and said he finished up his previous job a bit early and asked if he could come earlier than the estimated time they gave me. I absolutely LOVE that they do this because it saves everybody time. He showed up around 9:30am and quickly evaluated the problem. We never had this problem before so we expected our repair estimate to be upwards of $500 or $600. Little did we know we were WAY OFF. Josh quoted me $380 for the repair, said he could begin the repair right away, and it would take an hour or two to repair. I was stoked to hear I was wrong about what I thought the repair cost would be and that he wouldn't have to come back another day to initiate the repairs. He was quick, efficient, and one of my favorite things was that he was very friendly and sociable. Not awkward or a "straight to business" kind of guy. I really appreciate when service people can come into your home and make you feel like they are there not only for repairs, but to truly make your life easier through their services. I offered him a cup of coffee and we shared some small talk about dogs while he was working. I could immediately tell Josh was experienced and he wasn't going to screw around in our garage. Josh was very personable and I really appreciated that. He ended up finishing within 2 hours, told me he lubricated my door sliders and calibrated our opener. He then told me the springs were estimated to last upwards of 15 years or so. And what blew me away was that the repair comes with a 7 year warranty (which I did not have to pay extra for), but also that the warranty is transferable to others in case we ended up selling our home, since the warranty is attached to the address and not our names. I am genuinely impressed with the efficiency and professionalism that is shown by this business and its servicemen. The whole process from making the appointment to the completed repairs was incredibly quick, seemingly easy, MUCH more affordable than I expected it to be, and extremely satisfactory. Josh, if you're reading this, we appreciate the heck out of you. You've shown that you are not only good at your job but also personable and professional. You deserve a raise and I will recommend you to any one I can going forward. Thank you, Precision Door, and Josh Kuss. I chose Precision Door MN because they were able to come next day instead of next week like another company I contacted before them. My technician was Alex W. and he was able to figure out why my garage door wouldn't open. Turns out it just had to be reset. I feel stupid but now I know. He also fixed a cable that was a bit not in place. Very knowledgeable and the bill wasn't that much either. Will definitely keep this company in mind next time something happens.

I needed someone to come and close my overhead garage door which had gotten stuck open. They were in St Paul where I lived and could come in 1-3 hours. They quickly solved my initial problem and then did a checkup and made some adjustments for a more quiet opening and closing. I found Precision on Angi’s list. Precision provided a reasonable quote and available the next morning to repair my broken garage door spring. Ryan was the technician and he was prompt, courteous and professional. We had a common problem: a broken spring. Our tech, Ryan, was terrific. He analyzed the situation, explained his recommendation, and efficiently made the repairs. He also noted a couple of other issues and fixed them for us. He then made a final check of the door, noted a unrelated problem, offered a solution, installed a fix, discovered another quirk, and took the time to fix that too. I was very impressed with his continuous checking of the operation and his sticking to his work until he was certain that all all issues were resolved. Very impressive.

Devon was exceptional in his handling of my very difficult garage door issue (insulated very heavy door) - he went the extra mile and helped me to try and fix the new Ryobi garage door opener. After he left the cable broke on the right side (Devon did tell me the rust issue but I did not let him replace the cable at this time. The company rescheduled Ryan to come out to fix it the same day and after looking it over Ryan actually had Tom come out. Everyone was very professional and friendly and I now have my fully functional garage door working. Thank you very much. The prices seemed high to me but they did not charge me labor for the second visit (Ryan and Tom).

We called Sunday morning regarding a broken spring on my mom’s garage door. The woman who answered my call was knowledgeable professional and efficient. She scheduled a technician to arrive Monday (Memorial Day!) between 2-4. Ryan called 10” out arriving just before 2 and completed the work. He replaced both springs within an hour and was not only personable but extremely competent!! You have an excellent company.. thank you thank you!!
