Lucky for us that Precision services 7 days a week, because our inopportune need happened on Saturday of Memorial weekend when my husband in haste backed our SUV out of the garage with the rear door open! Within a few hours, Precision sent a technician to fix the old wooden garage door. Jon, the technician, obviously had the experience and skill needed to deal not only with the off kilter door and disconnected cable, but also the bent screw plate on one side, needing to saw off at least one bolt for replacement. He tightened all bolts and screws throughout the door, showing me where they were loose from years of use, and politely pointed out the deteriorating wood around the screws from moisture and time. With obvious attention to detail, checking and re-checking to ensure that the repair was done right, Jon's experience with a variety of doors and issues was obvious in that he was able to analyze and get right to the fix. He also came prepared with a variety of springs and nuts and bolts, so there was no returning to the shop for parts. Jon also handled my queries about replacement door features, so I feel I understand the advantage of the newer doors. It was re-assuring to have not only a half hour advance call before the technician's arrival, but also a text announcing his enroute. I also received a before-arrival email showing me the technician's photo with a little bio, which was a re-assurance of the right person's arrival. The charge was reasonable, and there was no extra weekend charge. Before I called the company, I read several positive reviews about them from others. This helped me make the call. I also definitely would recommend this company for reliability & service.

Jason was great however it would of cost me $736 for me to replace my unit so I paid the service fee and went down to Menards and paid $40 and replaced it my self. Recommend calling if you are only willing to buy there parts.

Sorry, nothing was wrong with the door, what ever I heard yesterday of course was not there today, so Rudy oiled all the wheels checked everything over to make sure nothing was missed, replaced a light bulb which was burned out. The experience was pleasant, learned a little bit more about the openers the connection between the installed one in the garage and inside the house, and the portable once from the cars which I thought needed new batteries and probably did not. Everything is working fine. I will give it a 5 Ursula

Our experience with them was very good. Contacted them after hours and they returned the call within the hour. Devon show up for the estimate on time and answer all of our questions. The install crew of Chris and Eric were very good also. They were very professional on the install. They also did a great job cleaning up after the job and hauling away the old damaged door. Lastly, I was not originally aware of a discount coupon for the door when I paid. I called Kristi after the fact and she credited my account immediately. No problem! Overall our experience was very good!

On the Sunday before Christmas weekend, late morning, Precision was able to send a tech out to replace the broken spring on our garage door (discovered the hard way when the door wouldn't raise for us to get the car out). Their tech, Alex Stack, was extremely prompt and cheery (in clear contract to the stress I was feeling, worrying how I was going to get the car out of the garage to get to work and run errands). When we called the company, they gave an estimate for when they would arrive, but Alex also communicated a closer estimate by calling us about 15 mins to his arrival, so we were able to clean the house and carry on with our baby rather than wait by the door. He arrived within an hour or so of our call to the company, and he fixed the spring within an hour or so of arriving. The door works great now, just like new. He was clear about the cost, it was affordable and reasonable, and Alex's service was exceptional. I would call this company again for any garage door service I need. I recommend them hands down.

Technician was very friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars if they didn't charge me 200 bucks for a sprocket replacement kit that you can get on Amazon for 20 bucks. Next time I'll go a few days without a garage door opener and fix it myself. Wish I would have priced the kit before they fixed it. Won't be calling these guys again! What a ripoff!

Late this afternoon, my garage door refused to close after a number of attempts. I finally called Precision Door Service for help, worried that it may be too late for anyone to come to my home and I did not want the garage door to remain open overnight.
