I am writing this review after hiring this company to repair my garage door. My thoughts: they were extremely high priced. I believe they use flat rate pricing. It cost $800 just to change a couple cables, and tracks on both sides. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He thought the wrong springs were used, I'm not sure if this is true or not. Or could he be trying to sell me more? In any case, I would check with other companies before making this decision. Also I have to have him come back next week for two things. So for me, the main drawback was the high price.

Their availability on a weekend was a HUGE plus. Also, the technician they sent out was very knowledgeable, easy to deal with and friendly. I had one major issue with them. They aren't able to service garage door spring mechanisms with internal springs (Wayne Dalton brand). I understand that this is their prerogative. However, it would have been helpful if during me booking my appointment that they had asked what brand I had up front. It would have saved them a trip and me a bill for $85 only for them to tell me they can't do anything other than install a completely different system for $1200+. Overall though, other than this issue, I would use them again.

Brian Bergstrom was so curtious and helpful in my decision making as to what to do with my garage door. I recently lost my husband so I wanted to make sure the garage door was in good working order before I go into the winter months. Brian gave me 3 options and I chose the second option which I feel very comfortable with. I called to make the appointment in the morning and Brian came in the late afternoon on the same day. I would deffinately call Precision again judging by this experience.

Your technician, James Magaard, came to my house yesterday to look at my garage door opener, which was malfunctioning. Not only did James diagnose and fix the problem, he went above and beyond, inspecting the garage door, rails, and track. He even straightened out one of the rails, and greased the track, so the door would open and shut with less noise. James was informative and friendly. A total pro! I heard about Precision Garage Door on the Garage Logic podcast, and would whole-heartedly endorse them!

My sister recommend Precision as they have used the company several times. The service tech was very thorough with the explanation of what the problem was and what was needed to repair/replace our garage door opener, springs, cables, etc. We are very happy with the service and the end result.
