My wife and I returned home from a weekend trip to find our primary garage door failing to open due to a broken torsion spring. At the recommendation of the Garage Logic podcast, I went online and booked an appointment for a garage door repair with Precision Door MN. An hour or so before my scheduled appointment time, I received a notification the Technician Bryce would be arriving as scheduled, which he did. After a complete inspection of the complete garage door assembly and opener, Bryce reviewed the results and gave me repair options for the safety critical items, general items needing repair and some optional/recommended upgrades. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, only the facts and costs for the various repair options. After making my choice, Bryce made the repairs, performed a basic garage door tune-up, adjusted my opener and reviewed the complete operation after repair all within an hour. Overall, the experience with Precision Door was positive and I'll definitely contact them again if/when I have another garage door failure or if I need an upgrade.

I had to call customer service with a question and they were easy to understand, polite, professional and knowledgeable. Shaun came out first day to assess what I needed. He was knowledgeable about their products and what would be best for me. No pushy sales pitch. Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and courteous! Everything including the door was replaced in my case. Mitch and Justin were fast and efficient, and everything was done in no time! Warranty is worth it. Price is average to slightly below. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door!! I had a bracket break off that was attached to the garage opener. The technician, Patrick inspected and assessed the opener. He made a few suggestions and explained the reasons why, to each repair option, which was very helpful in making my decision. After, the repair was completed, showed me what was done and made sure the door opened and closed properly. Patrick was polite, friendly, professional and efficient.

I called Precision Garage Door after I discovered a broken roller on my garage door. Brian arrived 2 hours later and did a complete inspection on both of my doors. He discovered a weak spring, worn rollers, and one of our openers was showing signs of excessive metal on metal wear. Brian was able to provide everything we needed immediately out of the inventory in his van. Three hours later we had completely reconditioned garage doors and new openers with enhanced capabilities over our old openers (incredibly quiet!). Brian was knowledgeable and was excellent at explaining everything. His installation was excellent and he cleaned up everything and took all of the old, failed parts. We had a super experience with Precision Garage Door- Our main garage door got caught and bent not only the door panels but the rails. PGD came out immediately the day we called and got it closed as it was a super cold and snowy day. We ended up having to order a new door due to the extensive damage. The whole process was quick, easy, friendly and extremely professional. Our new doors were installed yesterday and the team was so helpful and efficient. Even educating us that our existing openers could be used remotely, which we had not idea about! So far ,so great!

Patrick did an excellent job explaining the repairs we needed to our garage door. We also had questions about upgrading our opener since it was 10+ years old and had had some issues which he was also able to answer. He was able to complete the repairs to the door and install the new opener in the same visit. Both door and opener are now working great which is wonderful as we move into the winter ahead. Awesome service! We had one garage door opener that needed to be replaced. They gave us a fair no pressure bid for both garage doors that was very reasonable.
